landscapes

In painting a landscape I apply the same principles as working on the abstracts. There has to be a structural integrity that the forms relate to. I try to keep it subtle and not too obvious, but it has to be there. Maybe it’s already there in the the place that I selected. The landscape presents to me and opportunity to use my drawing and composition skills directly with the outdoors, and that’s a very important part of my life.
